It’s similar to the Apple TV app, but instead of taking you to the Disney+, Netflix or Prime Video websites, the app does it within itself.Ĭurrently, the app has access to the following services: Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Prime Video, HBO Max, Peacock, Paramount+, Showtime, YouTube, YouTube TV, Starz, PLEX, Twitch, Boomerang, Tubi, iMDB TV, Roku Channel, Hoopla, Kanopy, Pluto, fubo, DirecTV Stream, AcornTV, Discovery+ and Crackle. The good news is there is an app in the Mac App Store called “Friendly Streaming” that includes all of the streaming built into one app. However, it can be annoying to have to go to the website of each streaming service each time you want to want to watch a program on a different streaming service. Streaming services have taken up a good portion of our everyday TV-viewing habits and using them on the Mac is by no means abnormal.
